INVITATION TO THE BACHFEST LEIPZIG 2027

We are particularly pleased to announce that we have been invited to perform the St. Mark Passion at the Bachfest Leipzig in June 2027!

The invitation to Leipzig is a great honour for us, and we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the organizers of the Bachfest in Leipzig. We will publish more detailed information on date and venue of the concert in due time. Tickets will be available from November 2026 onwards.

GERMAN PREMIERE
GÖTTINGEN, MARCH 2026

On Saturday and Sunday, March 7 and 8, 2026, the German premiere of the St. Mark Passion took place in Göttingen. In two concerts at the church of St. Jacobi, the Jacobikantorei, the St. Jacobi Chamber Choir, the Göttingen Baroque Orchestra and five vocal soloists performed the St. Mark Passion under the musical direction of Cantor Stefan Kordes. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Stefan Kordes and everyone involved for their commitment and for the moving performances.
